Spatial–Temporal Variations in Temperature and Precipitation Extremes during 1960–2019 in Guizhou Province, China

چکیده

Under the background of global warming, climate extremes have become a crucial issue with distinct heterogeneity features in different regions. Hence, spatial–temporal changes temperature and precipitation Guizhou Province were investigated utilizing daily maximums minimums data during 1960–2019 based on trend analysis. It was concluded that, firstly, all warm but spell duration indicator (WSDI) are significantly enhanced, whereas for cold extremes, monthly minimum value (TNn) is while cool nights (TN10P), frost days (FD0), ice (ID0), (CSDI) decreased. And consecutive wet (CWD) no significant variational Province. Secondly, trends more prominent robust western Temperature show large differences from spring to winter. Thirdly, closely correlated strength, area, westernmost ridge point index Pacific subtropical high (WPSH), correlation WPSH. The WPSH has strengthened shifted westward past 60 years, leading less total cloud cover downward solar wave flux reaching Earth’s surface, accordingly, exacerbating weakening extremes. These results will benefit understanding at regional scale.

The variations of mercury in sediment profiles from a historically mercury-contaminated reservoir, Guizhou province, China.

Baihua Reservoir in Guizhou Province, China, experienced serious Hg contamination from Guizhou Organic Chemical Plant (GOCP) between 1971 and 1997. However, the biogeochemical cycling of Hg in this reservoir is not well studied. Sediment cores were collected in fall 2002, spring 2003 and in spring and fall 2004. THg and MeHg concentrations in all sediment profiles ranged from 0.26 to 38.9 mg/kg...

Genetic Characterization of Shigella flexneri Isolates in Guizhou Province, China

Shigella flexneri is one of the major etiologic causes of shigellosis in Guizhou Province, China. However, the genetic characteristics of circulating isolates are unknown. Phenotypic and molecular profiles of 60 S. flexneri isolates recovered in Guizhou between 1972 to 1982 and 2008 to 2010 were determined. Nine serotypes (1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, X, Y, 4av and Yv) were identified. Multi-locus seque...

Detectability of anthropogenic changes in annual temperature and precipitation extremes

This paper reports on a study of temperature and precipitation indices that may be suitable for the early detection of anthropogenic change in climatic extremes. Anthropogenic changes in daily minimum and maximum temperature and precipitation over land simulated with two different atmosphere-ocean general circulation models are analyzed. The use of data from two models helps to assess which cha...

Dynamics of vegetation in Karun watershed within Khuzestan province in relation with Temperature factors and precipitation

The aim of this study is to retrieve land surface temperature (LST), air temperature (AT) and precipitation and to study their relationship with vegetation in rang lands of Karun watershed of Khuzestan province. For this purpose, land surface temperature (LST) and NDVI was drived from NOAA-AVHRR for maximum amount of greenness (April) for a period of 27 years. In order to extract LST, Price alg...
